First, I just can't get over that color, it's awesome. Next, did you make that instrument cluster, or does someone sell it? Are you going to use the aluminum trim strip that goes across the dash, or are you leaving it off? I thought about taking it off, but wasn't sure if the dash would look too bare without it.

I can't believe how much is going on. With the interior, firewall and door jambs done we just started our second gallon can of base 1/2 can of clear and i just ordered another gallon can of orange glow. Might even still need a quqrt or to more base. It is a good thing that when I took on this project that I was single or I definetly would be by now. I am at the stage now to make sure that all the under the hood stuff is taken care of before it goes back together for final paint as I don't want anyone leaning over those extra wide fenders after it is painted. I have been taking lots of pictures and will update soon as long as I am not boring everyone, it is just that I am so stoked as the project move's closer to the final stages. Thanks everyone

Thanks. Nice job you did on your 40 frame. I also own a 40. I recently had my shoes reskinned and am having problems getting the drums back on. I'm not sure if I did somthing wrong or if they are the wrong thickness. Would you be so kind as to send me a picture of your brake set up so I can get to the bottom of this. Thanks, Stuart | | |
