Also there is one of those round-abouts that going through that too quickly gives a left/right and uncovers the pump too. The pressure goes to zero for several seconds then comes back up. No problem when full. Are there some 235 pans better than others? I have a '61 235 but no telling what the pan came off of. Thanks, Dennis

#16818 09/30/2004 3:21 AM | Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 10 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 10 | I don't know much about that motor.But you could put a baffel with a flapper on it in the pan an inch or 2 in front of the pump.So when you brake the flapper stops the oil from goin to the front of the pan.give that a thought.No oil pressure is not a good thing.
