Well, I may be exagerating a bit but, after switching tires the truck handles sooooo much better. Wow!

I had 215/70/16 Bridgestone Dueler AT (27,75 inches in diameter) on it. I never liked the 'hi-tech' look of the sidewall (cross-hatched with large black lettering).

I switched to a Bridgestone R273SWP (a TRUE light and medium truck tire), with a wide, smoooooth sidewall and almost a bias-ply look:

Size is 215/85/16 (30,5 in diameter) a whopping 3 inches more!!! It fills the fenders like Jennifer Lopez fills her jeans...

I gained 4-5 mphs and I can now turn effortlessly. The ride is not hard at all, even though it is a 10 ply tire.

Just thought I'd share...

I have a different brand, but same size. I sure like mine too.

46, I searched the Bolt archives before ordering and some of your posts came up, along with a few bolters running 215/85/16 tires. Great cross-reference material...

A lot of the 3/4 tonners run them.
I makes the truck look like a truck...

The right tire makes all the difference in the world. I'm running the same size. You'll love'em.

Whiz,
You're right about those tires looking like bias-ply. They really do have an antiquiness about them.

This old truck sure looks neat, but where are the heated seat controls?!?
