For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 219 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 219 | Go to my WebShots page. http://community.webshots.com/user/pywgn Check out the "Out to Pasture" folder. I found this place in Myerstown, Pa.. Only an hour & 1/2 from my house. I found the address on some obscure link while Google searching. Called the guy, He said, "sure, come on up and have a look around". I was the only one there!! What a beautiful afternoon. I'm on vacation, so, I had all the time I needed. I must have walked 5 miles. By the way, it's for sale!! 74 acres, all the inventory included. Only $2 mil. I could retire at this place!! Enjoy Fellas!! After looking at your pictures I asked my Photoshop savvy son how you made those pen and ink looking shots. He played a little and decided he did not know how you did it.
Can you share the secret?

Wish I could have been there. | | | | | Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 158 Member | | Member Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 158 | I can only imagine one way to buy it. If we all pitched in some money, the whole community here we could go through and work out who gets what....Or maybe I will just win the lottery and buy it all! Did that used to be a junk yard, I mean how did all that just collect there over time. I bet there are many valuable parts there. The first thing I do if I bought it would be to go through it and sort out whats good and bad, and tarp all the good stuff. Ok, I have to quit typing before I go crazy!
PS - That frame was insane!

That frame is sick, huh?? Tony 'N, That's too funny. There is alot of useful stuff. I've gotta go back & get the spare tire bracket I need. You know, the one that mounts the spare under the bed. There were a few that I found. But, I had no tools with me. I can't stop thinking about that place!! Everytime I think about it I feel a bummer feeling in the pit of my stomach, because I will never get to see the place. I can only imagine how many valuable parts, cars, and trucks one could find there. Ughhh.....
