I don't think this violates the no advertising rule, because no one on the links page would have this sort of thing. It does however violate the no F#@* rule.
Mcleod shows a scattershield type bell housing with adapter for the tremec.
In Hot Rod Sept '01 they installed a Tremec TKO from
www.hanlonmotorsports.com in place of a muncie 4spd.
This guy sells them, modified to bolt up to the Chevy bell housing and redrills the rear mount pad for a chevy mount. In your case the stock bell and mounts would make this a much easier swap than an automatic. It comes with mech speedo adapter that he gears for you. You will however probably have to move the shifter forward for more bucks. You'll have to shorten drive shaft, but you would for a 700R4 also.
This trans is suppose to easily handle 450 lb torque. There is an other company that adapts them to bolt up behind big block mopars.
