I had thought that I have all of the interior metal panels for my ’41 Master, but now that I have begun to clean up behind the seat I’m not sure. I have the nicely shaped upper rear panel that also frames the back window and the two lower corner panels that extend from up by the cab beltline to the floor and from the doors about a foot around the back side. I had assumed that there was no center panels as the area is hidden by the seat, but now I have found a row of small holes in the center stiffener (behind the seat) so I’m thinking there could have been a interior panel there. Anyone got any idea?? If there was one was it metal or fiberboard??

My 39 is the same. Mine also has holes in the center brace. Ive never seen a replacement for sale so I just plan to get some type of panel and cover it to match the rest of the interior.

Kip, I don't think there ever was any kind of pannel there. If you want one (which I think is a good idea) it's easy to build one out of fiberboard as you suggested.

Make sure you tuck some sound deadening and insulation in behind it.

Good luck

My 4t6 has same holes and I figured I would cover with a door skin covered with some upholstery material. Mine is almost ready for paint and
hope to start putting back together this winter if all goes well. Haven't posted to much lately with work and home computer woes.

Thanks guys.

I think mine will have to settle for fiber board and some insulation as I do not have an extra door skin. Looked closely, with a magnifying glass last night (getting old and eyesight aint what it used to be) and could not see any threads in those holes. So maybe they are just there to let the water (from washing out the cab) out.

Kip, my 46 was the same as yours. After insulating the cab I covered with fiberboard.
Good luck
