I'd sure like to make a knob that looks like the choke knob or the light switch knob, but it seems like a lot of work, or else an expensive job at a machine shop. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 887 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2005 Posts: 887 | You can buy the knobs from Jim carter and others and then fit them on with epoxy, a set screw or some other manner.
Personally, I'm using a replacement chrome wiper nob that I've drilled a little hole in and installed a set screw to hold the knob in place on the New Port Engineering switch.
I'm hoping to do something similar with the a/c control switches using light switch replacement knobs.
