These seats are power with memory and heat. Does anybody have a wire diagram to hook it up? These seats have a switch on the door for memory set, 1, 2, and heat control. The connector on the seat has 2 rows of pins, 8 pins on each row. pin A=orange, B=pink, C=pink, D=brown/white, E=black/white, F=green, G=lt blue, H=blue, J=yellow, K=blue, ?=lt blue, ?=white, R=black/white, S=black. The black and orange wires are bigger than the others so my guess is these are the constant power supply. The others must be for the door switch. I would get a helm manual but for that new of a suv they want several hundred $$$$$$. I don't know the specifics of any particular vehicle, but I believe the switching is integrated with the vehicle's computer system. Switches nowadays aren't necessarily directly connected to the devices they control. The switches and devices are connected to computer modules, in this case probably at least a driver's door module and the body control module, which communicate via serial signals through the vehicle's communcation bus. The memory function would be part of the body module.
I have the manuals for the 2005 GM pickups that I could look at to verify this. However, I'm away from home and won't have access to them for a while.
