im thinkin about puttin in newer seats with built in seatbelts from another vehicle.. anyone have already done this and have ideas on wat seats work for this application?

Just put 1999 Chevy Silverado 60-40 seat in my 59
chevy pickup. Mounting space or platform was 54 inches.Fit perfect had very little modification to passenger side front part of the rails/brackets.Probably depends on/and if you have space to work with.

don't know about the fit but i am looking for a late 80's early 90's ford deluxe benc. that was the cozest darn seat i have ever had in a truck. lots of colors and cheap at the j-yard.

I custom fit early 80'S chevy p.u. seats in my trucks, they can easily be adapted to the stock seat mounts and thier comfy.
