I am looking for a new bench seat cover for my 1971 pick up. It is Black on black vinyl & cloth inserts + scroll. I found all vinyl and vinyl/houndstooth. Anyone know what to ask for, or where to find it?

I would try Classic Industries as they seem to have a good selection of seatcovers available for these trucks. You may also want to contact SMS Auto Fabrics just down the road from you in Portland OR. A tip however, SMS is sloooow to answer emails if at all so best to call them.

Our local upholstery guy can take the vinyl insert out and sew in a fabric of your choice. Was a popular thing to do back in the 80's around here when everything came with vinyl. Here in Iowa, the summer sun would heat the vinyl up to the point it would burn you and the winter cold would freeze your unmentionables off for miles. If you buy a new cover, have it modified before you install it,
Just thinking out loud,
