Hello all,
This my attempt to introduce my truck. Purchased in 2026 from CA and hauled it back to MA during the blizzard.
As a third owner the truck is in good shape and appears to be close to original. It runs and drives nicely. I bought an assembly manual which helps me to understand how things are suppose to be. I have not found many changes based on the manual. My goal is keep it as Chevy built it.
It's an exciting project and I've spent months going through the brakes, wheel cylinder, master cylinder conversion to dual cylinder, parking brake system, Carburetor rebuild, tappet adjustment, front bearing conversion to tapered bearings, and a few improvements along the way.
I'm stuck on attaching pictures just now and hope to figure it out soon.

An added word on picture files. If you are using an "Apple" device (phone or tablet), be sure before you take pictures that you set your camera/photo file type settings to "Most Compatible". That saves them as jpg or png file types, which can easily upload through the Attachment Manager, instead of the "HEIC" format files that is the standard Apple device setting. "HEIC" files are not compatible with our Attachment Manger, and will not upload unless later resaved/converted to jpg or png format files.

Looking forward to seeing pic! thumbs_up

Welcome to the ‘Bolt! It sounds like you have a really nice truck! As Dan pointed out, we ‘Bolters love pictures so please post a few.

We would love it, if you could tell us a bit about your truck, its history, your goals and what if any, you have already accomplished on restoring your truck.

Let me give you a helpful guide on navigating the different forums on Stovebolt.
