One of my spring saddles has grown legs and walked off somewhere. I've searched and searched to no avail. Would anyone have a saddle to part with? This is the piece that sits on top of spring pack that has grooves for u bolts to sit in. Also has square hole for rubber bumber. Thank you. 53 3100 truck.

The part is listed in the Chevy Master Parts Books as Group 7.421 - Retainer - bracket, front spring bumper GM# 3655328.

Same part for 1/2 ton trucks from 1940-50 CAB and Panel Express with double action shock absorbers and 1951-55 1st Series with double action shock absorbers.

Pictured in the 1947-54 Chevy FAM screenshot attached below. The rubber bumper is listed as a separate part under Group 7.422, GM# 3653084. A repop is available from a number of our usual vendors, like The Filling Station CV-393.

If other 'Bolters don't offer one up, you might consider contacting 'Bolter Steve "KCMongo" at 816-265-1462 as I'd bet he has a bunch available to chose from. wink

Best of luck in your search! thumbs_up
