We want to thank the many folks who help make this site possible, from the volunteers, moderators and the participants helping in the forums. We do have a lot of readers and a steady flow of new folks.


But this is about the very special folks who get an extra big thanks from all of us. These folks have dipped into their pockets and, after sorting out a few nuts, bolts and string, have tossed some cash our way to help us pay for the necessary things we need to keep this site going (the hosting fee is the biggie).


So here we go:

Jeff "Rusty Rod" Backus gave the last donation for 2025 and naturally the FIRST donation for 2026.
Rusty has been around with us a long time and has been super helpful to move around in the forums to places we need. He currently helps moderate in the Welcome Centre, the Electrical Bay, Name that Part, Panels and Burbs, the Whole Wild West Coast, and just recently added the International Zone after he moved to Japan.

John "UtahYork" Yorkey - John made SIX donations last year. We are guessing this one is a Valentine's Day expression of Stovebolt Love. John's been going great guns in his DITY build story!



Dan "Gdads51" Gerhards - Dan is a huge contributor in every way. He is a key player here on Stovebolt. Many of you have benefited from his research of lots of issues, especially in General Truck Talk and the Swap Meet area, hunting down some of the hard to find items. And with his great memory, he can recall when someone mentioned they have this or that. And he continues to grab various manuals for his Stovebolt library to help with details. Such a huge help.

Besides moderating the General Truck and Swap Meet, he is also a Global Moderator, helping all over the place especially for the Stovebolt Staff. And with all that, here he is making a great donation to help pay the bills.

From the Stovebolt Topper sales, Luke set a little aside for Stovebolt to help with the bills. That'll keep the lights on for awhile. We are working on a wrap-up story on the Topper.

Kevin "klhansen" Hansen -- Kevin is our "night shift" in the first line of moderators ("Global") -- he lives in Alaska. He's been a huge asset in keeping the site running ... even in the inner workings (helping Peggy in the front office ). All that, plus he's a regular moderator for Making a Stovebolt Bed & Paint and Body Shop, And if that's not enough: check out his 1951 Chevy 3100 “Alaska Road Commission a fascinating saga in the Project Journals.
   "Enjoying the discussions when I had an issue getting my rebuilt engine started. It really helped that the guys remind me to double and triple check EVERYTHING. THANK YOU, for maintaining the site."

    "I have gotten a lot of info from Stovebolt on my 1953 Chevy 3600 so I thought I would try and pay back some."

Here is his truck from his first post in Welcome Centre: 1953 3600 3/4-ton AD stake bed (Norman OK). He's got a lot more story and we are hoping he'll do a DITY that he's owned for 37 years!

And thanks for the comments. You are correct about Dan (Gdads 51). He goes that extra mile. He's currently collecting as many books as he can find for his "Stovebolt Library." And we can tell you, he is a research hound like we'd never seen.
