Ok ya”ll, been a while since I posted but went out this evening to a Cruise in at a new restaurant I been wanting to try. The food was good but by the time I got back outside it was too dark except for the one picture I got. They turned lights on later but oh well. Still felt good to get out. Been really busy with work and grand babies.

My wife Nelda and I had the privilege of giving 'The Little Blue Truck ' experience to two different schools this past week. Thursday was a church school and Friday was CECO. CECO is a school for severely handicapped children.

We went to Car Show sponsored by a local Church this Saturday. It had a decent turnout but there were very few Trucks, and fewer "Old" Trucks. Here are some pics for your enjoyment. grin

Thanks for posting, everyone. I enjoy going to the shows & cruise in’s. The old car/truck hobby covers a lot of territory as far as types & makes of vehicles. Never know what you might see.

I'll be attending the monthly cruise-in this coming Saturday on the square in Scottsboro, AL if anyone else in the area wants to join me. Maybe I'll get to see what the NE AL old truck community is ...

Got out today with the wife and went to a seafood festival/car show over in Waveland. Pretty decent turnout. You see some of the same trucks but this had some different Louisiana folks that must have driven over.

I’m thinking Alvin needs a posi unit in that truck. Savings on right rear tires ought to help pay for it. LOL. Every time I’m tempted to launch the C10 like that, I think about how much I don’t want to scatter my drive train all over the roadway. Great photos, btw. Thanks for posting.

Or just weld the spider gears together! It will only buck a little on tight corners.

Tim, I was slowing down!
Even my grandson does it but on his motorcycle. We have our own little "century" club going on.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Ok, after 3 tries finally made it up to the Smokey Mountain Nationals and the Southern Bolters Jamboree held at the same time. Did not get to bring my own truck but maybe next year. We all dodged rain drops most of the day but it was nice to meet most of the folks in person on this site. Just a few pictures below. I will post some more pictures tomorrow since it will be sunny all day. Trucks everywhere, grocery stores all the hotels. A lot of time was spent today drying them off after the multiple showers today More to follow!!

This truck was the Best of Show at SMN. Note inside the bed is a plaid looking wrap all around that matched his seat bottoms but you can’t see them.

Out today at a show @ Sacred Heart Church probably about 60 vehicles. Truck pictures below. After a while you see the same vehicles again.

Wd had a local Show on Saturday. Proceeds were going to a Woman that is battling Cancer. Not many Trucks and fewer GM's.
