The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop Carburetor problem - 250/6

I posted previously that the engine in my 66 C10 was partially disassembled when I got the truck. The Rochester B was on the manifold but the accelerator linkage was disconnected. I found a spring loose in a box of spare parts… anyway, I can see something is not right with the throttle lever. There is nothing for the idle adjustment screw to push against to adjust the idle. I don’t really know how I got it to start and idle before. It won’t now. See pictures. And thanks for your help.

I think I see the problem. It just hit me. Maybe some of you can see my mistake too. Thanks for all responses!

Lever upside down. You are not the only one to make that mistake.
