During teardown of the 235 I found one lifter with small chipped edge on the cam lobe side. Should I replace all of the 12 solid lifters or just that one (if I can find one.)
Was there any noticeable wear on the cam lobe itself? Pictures of what you found/find would help us help you best.

I'm in the process of building a lifter refacing jig for my lathe. I'll be able to put either a 60" or a 72" radius on the bottom of the lifter. I'll be using a die grinder and a 400 grit ROLOC sanding disc, followed by polishing with a ScotchBrite disc. Jerry
