Had a co-driver this afternoon, Connor our Middle Little Grandson. It was just a run to the gas station but he thought it was COOL. He said Thor is "Massive and Loud".. He thought starting it was great, he was fascinated with how you rolled the windows down...😁

Our second grandson is now out of college, but when he was about 5 or 6 years old, I remember how he thought it was so cool the first time he saw me roll down a window. That was the first time it occurred to me that he had never seen anything but power windows! How times have changed!
A friends grandson rode with me in my manual transmission daily driver truck (also has roll-down windows) and he was fascinated to watch me shift gears.

I would like to think that out of six Grands and one Great Grand, one of them would get the "OldTruck" bug...😁

My own contribution to the the next Stovebolters generation is my then 14 (now 16) year old granddaughter steering my Grandpa's (her Great-Great Grandpa) truck as the first time behind a steering wheel. She has her drivers permit and is working towards her first DL.

I can remember being that young behind the wheel of my Grandpa's Truck. I didn't know it was going to cause a lifetime obsession.. 😁

My 8 year old grandson will be my brake pumper today when we bleed the brakes on the 40. He seems to have a mild interest but is always willing to help. At least for a while. 😊

My Middle Little doesn't have a phone as yet, I'd like to keep it that way for awhile longer. He is bundle of energy, wears me out just keeping up with him. He does ask a lot of questions though, maybe that a good sign..😁
