Getting ready to install 350 and SM420 in my "59. Front fenders, inner walls and radiator are off. Recommendations on installing the engine and tranny together or separate? I do have a lift.

Definitely easier to install as a together unit, especially with the front clip off. Beats the heck out of trying to install the transmission afterwards, possible on your back on the floor.

Now if your rad support is off, thats different. It would just slide in.
