Great job. When I converted my bus to a Skoolie, one of the first things I did was install a woodstove. Winter was the only time I had to work on it, so it made it nice and toasty inside.
Moving the lift, while a big task will pay off in the long run. Given it had to operate no matter the weather conditions, I am surprised there was metal at all. Promotion is surely in order. I will get the paperwork to Peggy before sundown......
Now George, I have to ask, I am guessing the chimney was removed before mobilization?

I've been using the LP heater we used in the garage back at Friendship. It heats up the bus nicely.
The floor is fixed, patch, derusted, resealed, painted and the new subfloor is complete! I did a lot of reference marking and measuring to get the sub floor piece pre drilled for the lift mount bolt holes and the power supply cable. Took my time and ... what do you know, I nailed it!

Awesome project! I love following along with the progress! Please keep the updates flowing! One correction....it would appear that you in fact screwed it.... contrary to the aforementioned "nailed" it....
Tom .... sigh ... You've been flagged. Anyway, the carriage bolts you see (only the heads) are the new bolts for the lift. I put them in their holes to make sure the subfloor piece didn't shift out of position when I screwed it down.

Yeah, well the co-pilot seat was stashed back there whilst I was wrapping up the front. Lately, I got the floor finished and the lift re-installed (works great!). Some minor stuff and she'll be ready for sea trials!
