I am using the old tee block that attaches to the back. The question I have, is there supposed to be a copper ring between the master cylinder and the tee block? Seems like there should be but wanted to check. Didn’t remember one on there when I took the tee off the old master cylinder. | | | | | Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 1,995 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Feb 2016 Posts: 1,995 | If there is no other type of sealing surface such as a flare or O-ring or tapered pipe threads, then you probably need the copper gaskets.

Did my 53 last year and rings came with the parts. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2025 Posts: 8 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2025 Posts: 8 | | | | | | Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,876 Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) | | Kettle Custodian (pot stirrer) Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 29,876 | I believe there needs to be a copper gasket on both sides of the tee block.
