I was thinking along the lines of a steel brush with 1 5/8" diameter attached to a 6 1/2' long rod chucked in a drill.
What say you?

Maybe follow up with some phospo ospho sprayed into the space.
I had a blaster do my bedsides, but I'm sure they didn't get carried away with the inside of the rail. I had them shoot them with epoxy primer as well.

They could handle a whole car body. They did my cab. They are no longer here, but maybe there's a facility in your area?

Mo. area to Topeka, Ks. to a company that does commercial plating of large industrial objects (light poles and such). They had a dip tank large enough for a car body. I had them do my bed sides to get inside the rolled areas at the bed tops. Very reasonable pricing. I'll give that a go, then treat it with ospho and run the brush back through after 24 hours to clean up the chalky residue from the chemical process. I will then go to the blaster and have it epoxy primed and painted.
