I found my old turn signal switch that mounts to the steering column, but I'm thinking about updating to something new. Just looking for suggestions on a new switch that would have a hazard switch built in. What are you guys using out there? Also, has anyone used an American Autowire toggle switch 500148 to run their turn signals? I guess you could hind it at the bottom of the dash to keep the interior looking stock?

Or, I guess I have the option to figure out which wire does what on this old switch and keep it looking old inside the cab.

Update: I continue to research this old Signal-Stat switch and was able to find some wiring diagrams that might help me to figure out what color goes where. I'm going to play with it to see if it still usable.

My Signal Stat 900 clone has a built in hazard light function. I think that was the feature added when upgrading from 800 to 900.

I use a toggle switch mounted under the dash, it's has a long lever on it, simple three wire hook up. Mine turns relays on and off. On the '37, the dash is not that far away and reaching the turn signals is easy for me, just have to remember to turn them off.

Take your switch apart and de-rust it and give it a shine, it should come back to life and look pretty good.

FYI - I was able to find some wiring instructions for this Signal-Stat 800 switch and all the wire colors match up with my switch. I'll need to pick up a 12v flasher.
