I am going to replace floor pan with complete one piece pan with seat riser. Obviously the cab will come off frame, but then what? Floor has to be installed from underside so would it be easier to lay cab on its bacK? and how should cab be braced before cutting out the old floor? Any advice/tips are appreciated. Thank you.

Is this truck the 1953 3100 you mentioned in this previous thread of yours?
It helps if you identify what truck you are working on to get folks to provide the best feedback and replies to your question.
Edit - I added a bit to your title to help folks focus there info and replies.

IHPWR; I have been where you are going. I would not have had a chance of success without the active support of a few, key Stovebolters. I got so much from this forum that I am compelled to try to give some back. Let's plan to talk by phone and see if I can get you on your way. I guess the easiest process is for you to private message me with a phone number or email and we will get the ball rolling. On my part, I will have to train myself to look at my private messages!
IHPWR; I thought I should also show you that my cab has made more progress since the complete floor, all 6 side cowl pieces, back corners, parts of the kick board etc... have been replaced. It is now in epoxy primer and I am ready to start work on the dashboard and other aspects of the inside of the cab. There is hope!!!
I apologize for the vague post. Yes, this is the 53 3100 truck in question.
Not a problem at all sir!
Just helpful info that can give you quick help like Gib70 posted above. Just me, but I'd take him up on his offer to talk by phone (you'll need to reach out to him via PM first). He's clearly successfully ridden this horse and I'm sure can share tons of useful info, tips and "watch out for..." things to help you in your project.
BTW - You can list your truck(s) in your "Profile Signature Line" so that the info shows up in every post you make. No need to constantly reenter the info. The only thing to watch for is if you ask a question not related to your truck. Then just include the truck being discussed in your title and the conversations can go from there.
