For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 43 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 43 | I have a very nice stock 1954 4400. What is the best was to go on a new radiator? I was quoted $1200 for a recore. A new 3 row copper/Brass is $649 from Chevy of the 40's. Or there is the aluminum 3 row that is all over the internet in the $300 range. I would appreciate your opinions. Thx, Roger

Is in an all original time capsule? Fully restored? If so, buy the new original style or pay for the recore.
If it were me, I'd buy the copper / brass one for $650.

Other "Big Bolters" should be along soon to offer suggestions.
