Question for the Bolters. I am doing a total frame off rebuild, and I have all the bed parts painted and the bed being built on stands. The chassis is finished including drive train. The cab will not be painted until December/February timeframe. My question is whether I can install the entire bed assembly before the installation of the cab? I understand the cab will have to be leveled and the bed lined up with the cab. Is this an absolute don't do? Any advice is appreciated.

What Carl said. If you want to store the bed on the frame, do that, but move it out of the way when installing the cab.

I agree with Kevins recommendation, you do not want the bed "installed" when putting the cab onto the frame.
