I have the perches in the back holes which I think was told that this is the correct location for the v8. What would be the problem with using the front two holes? Looks like it would give me about two inches more away from the firewall. has one hole on each side located at about a 45 degree angle to match the cross member.
The early car bellhousings had 2 holes on each side and used a completely different mount configuration.
