Anyone have a good used or new A/C manifold for R-12?

Anyone have any R-12 for sale?

Thanks,

Why are you not using 134A?

Well, I have an old Corvette that I want to keep original. Plus I don't have the money to convert it to 134a. When you add in all the components, it gets expensive.

First of all you can't mix the two types and you also have to replace the accumulator, seals, expansion valve and hoses to do it right. Why mess with it when I can do it with r12.

Hey, if anyone has a vacuum pump, I'm also interested.

R12 has been pretty much phased out. It's also very expensive when you do find it, and you have to be licensed with MACS to purchase it. From what I've seen, you can use the substitutes as a drop in. Besides, you most likely need to replace the O-rings and other seals anyway, so why not evacuate it and do the conversion? It'll be cheaper in the long run than trying to hunt down R12.
