The reason I am asking is because my gas tank is practically brand new. So if it is possible, I'd like to mount it between the rails. And just use it. I guess I will have to do some measuring tonight and figure it out.

The under bed fuel tanks that were used in earlier models were shorter and wider to fit the space and provide the capacity desired. | | |
