So my old brain is not working (whats new). took my heater out of my 1952 2 ton 3 years ago, finally got around to ordering a 12 volt motor so I could put it back together. I have the round type heater core so I have a fan blade not squirrel cage, I did not mark witch way the blade goes. will the flange go facing motor or facing out. If anyone has this style and can let me know it would be great.
Whatever allows you to position the fan blade in the shroud, and you can access the set screw. The fan blade will move the air in the same direction no matter if the hub is inboard or outboard.
