Been searching for reproduction "3600" hood emblems for a 1953 3/4 chevy, but without any luck. I did find one source and ordered but they are way smaller than what I need. Anyone know of a source that carries these items?
Photos show what I am looking for and what I have been able to find.
As a last resort I would consider have these replated but have not been able find anyone who does this type of work. I have reached out to Smitty's chrome service in NE but, if I do replate, would like to hear from someone who has worked with a company and like the results.
I did upload a photo as an option to consider but these emblems would have been on trucks from `49->`51.

If all else fails, those emblems could easily be 3D printed in resin or even metal.

cst010 - Jim Carter offers the larger "3600" hood side badges as 1953-54 3/4 ton hood side emblems. He lists them as being sold as "seconds" since they have minor imperfections prior to the chroming process. Hope this might help you out. wink

I purchased TRT498 from Jim Carter, $159 for the set. They now have similar part, unpainted with blems as TRT498B .....$73 each. See pic below of my emblems mounted to hood. Any questions shoot me a Private message. I don't think you would be dissapointed with Carter's emblems.

I am following along as I also need to get a set as my truck did not have any when purchased.

Many thanks to all.

Believe I am going to order the emblems from Jim Carter. If they do not have any available, I'm going to go with Chevrolet and small 3600 emblem and while not correct for the year of the truck, think I like this look better.

I bought the unpainted ones from Jim Carter and painted the black part myself. Easy and looks great.
