I am not running a radio, but if suppression wires work as well as non-suppression wires, I am not opposed to running them.
The engine is stock and I am running a 12 volt system with points and a Jon-G condenser.
I assume that whatever tall cap and rotor the local FLAPS has on offer are fine...?

Sometime you can find great deals on such items at your FLAPS. Several fellow Bolters, including myself, took advantage of a steal of a sale that JW51 first reported on in this thread.
