I tried searching the forum to see if this basic question had been answered before, but I failed to find an answer.

I am not running a radio, but if suppression wires work as well as non-suppression wires, I am not opposed to running them.

The engine is stock and I am running a 12 volt system with points and a Jon-G condenser.

I assume that whatever tall cap and rotor the local FLAPS has on offer are fine...?

Thanks!

So, I am getting the impression that for my application, the standard $36 plug wire sets from the local auto parts shop should serve me just fine. Is that correct?

I think you will be happy with that choice Nick. Sometime you can find great deals on such items at your FLAPS. Several fellow Bolters, including myself, took advantage of a steal of a sale that JW51 first reported on in this thread. Let us know what you got and how they perform if you don't mind. wink

Nick, the answer is yes.......your local auto parts store can provide what you need. Supporting local business helps ensure that one day we won't have to buy everything from internet, and that helps us all.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the assistance!

That sale on the Edelbrock wire sets looks like a great deal! Buy a set for everyone on your Christmas card list! (Too bad that they are back up to $65!)
