| | | | Joined: Jan 2020 Posts: 68 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2020 Posts: 68 | I need to replace the shackles on my front leaf spring for my 1950 Chevy 3100. I ordered some new ones from an online retailer, but when they came in, the new shackles were 1" shorter than the ones on my truck. The new shackles are 4" and the ones on my truck are 5". Are the ones on my truck wrong or the new ones wrong? I want to keep the suspension stock, but I could see if someone put different shackles on it because that's what they had laying around. Does anyone know?
