I'm missing the support rods on my 1957 Chevy suburban. I'm sure they are required so I'm checking to see if maybe someone had the same problem and has a source to find them. If not maybe recommend what size stock to use to Fab a pair.
I'd suggest 3/8" steel round bar- - - - -cut and thread it to whatever length you need. If you don't find a source locally, there's lots of it available on Ebay. Jerry

sub57 - Just in case it may be of any help, below is a snap shot from a 1955.2-59 FAM with details on the supports for your Suburban (3106). Included is an update to show a later part number change (in red). Good luck on your fabricating these rods up! Shouldn't be terribly hard.
