For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 734 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 734 | My Craftsman DA sander crapped out on me yesterday after not a lot of use in a little over a year. Been trying to finish a hood. Fortunately, there's a 2 year warranty. While I'm waiting for an old credit card bill (proof of sale) to come in the mail, I bought Sears "Companion" brand DA sander. It was $20 and seems to work just as well as the $70 Craftsman. It's got a 1 year warranty and for $20, if it craps out after a year, oh well. If you need a quick, cheapie replacement, hard to beat this one for $20. -David | | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 738 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 738 | cool...it is irritating when an expensive tool craps out and a cheap one can out-perfrom it.
