Is there a common fuel filter that has both inlet and outlet setup for 3/8 inverted flare hardline? Specifically - that would be female inlet/outlet being 5/18-18 IFF…..
Wix has a pretty nice search function by inlet size, but I sure can’t locate an option.
(One of my weird little obsessions is eliminating as much soft line as possible)

The filter is usually mounted inside the frame, just before the fuel pump. So that needs a hose anyway at filter outlet to pump inlet. The inlet side of filter is just one extra hose. That short hose is attached/clamped at one end to the 33033 inlet and the end other to a hard line flare from tank. The flare acts as a perfect seal for a hose clamp. You can't have a hard line to the fuel pump inlet. Motor moves independent of frame. You will be OK with rubber hose. It's made in China.

Just food for thought here, I used a Wix 33481 on the my "59 3100 (Ernest). While this filter is a 16x1.5 mm it is fairly common to GM vehicles and readily available. The filter has a flow rate of 1-2GPM at 4.0 Micron filtration. The only obstacle would be having to use metric flare nuts in place of standard 3/8in. https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/wix/wix-fuel-filter/wix0/33481
