He bought the truck in 1954 and used it as a work truck until the 1970s. It is complete except the last row seat. I am getting ready to retire next summer and have decided that it is too much work for me to restore. I would like to sell it but I have no idea how to go about doing that or what it is worth. I am just looking for some guidance on how to go about doing that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time, Teresa

HERE IS a good Tech Tip: "Appraisal -- What's my truck worth?" Hope that'll be a good starting point. And remember Barry Week's bottom line: "Your truck is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay for it."

If you decide to list it there, take a few moments and read this post on our Guidelines and Tips. Then, if you find you would like some help with setting up an ad, feel free to give me a shout in a PM and I will gladly help as I can.

Suburban's are a little harder to find than the regular truck and there is always someone posting a wanted ad there. | | | | Joined: Mar 2017 Posts: 395 Donald S. | Donald S. If you haven’t listed or sold your surburban yet, I may be interested in it for my next project. I already restored a 1953 Chevy truck. I will PM you for more info | | |
