Hello Everyone,
I have a 1953 Chevy Suburban that I got from my Grandfather. He bought the truck in 1954 and used it as a work truck until the 1970s. It is complete except the last row seat. I am getting ready to retire next summer and have decided that it is too much work for me to restore. I would like to sell it but I have no idea how to go about doing that or what it is worth. I am just looking for some guidance on how to go about doing that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
Teresa

Haven't seen you on Stovebolt in quite some time! Glad to see you are still around.

HERE IS a good Tech Tip: "Appraisal -- What's my truck worth?" Hope that'll be a good starting point. And remember Barry Week's bottom line: "Your truck is only worth what a buyer is willing to pay for it." wink

Teresa, When you do decide to sell and have come up with an asking price, perhaps you would list it in our Trucks For Sale section of the Swap Meet? smile

If you decide to list it there, take a few moments and read this post on our Guidelines and Tips. Then, if you find you would like some help with setting up an ad, feel free to give me a shout in a PM and I will gladly help as I can.

You could also browse through the "Trucks Wanted" section. Suburban's are a little harder to find than the regular truck and there is always someone posting a wanted ad there.

Tsmouse53,

If you haven’t listed or sold your surburban yet, I may be interested in it for my next project. I already restored a 1953 Chevy truck. I will PM you for more info

Please don't tell my wife how much this thing cost!
