Just acquired a 1 Ton Dually dump that is pretty much stock and I am looking for a recommendation for a good, comprehensive, engine manual that could be purchased. Husband is a long time tinkerer with most gas engines but, is new to the diesel engines. This engine only has 53K original miles and was used exclusively in a large private park.
Will post some photos when we have the truck at our location.
Thank you in advance for your input,
Virginia

Haynes has a Diesel Engine manual that covers the 6.2L among others. Not necessarily recommending Haynes, but that's a start.

You're giving me flashbacks!
Change fuel filters religiously, Stanadyne (Roosa master) pumps will suffer from lack of lubrication before you notice lack of power. Never use starting fluid on these beasts, I've seen them bend rods, ingesting snow or water was another issue that would bend rods, etc.
