Waaaaaaay back when (whilst the Earth was still cooling from being formed on the second day), this site was created as a '39 & '40 specific site. If you poke around the menu bar at the top, you should find a lot of info for these trucks lurking in our "legacy" Tech Tips, courtesy of Barry Weeks, Tom Brownell and others. If you need/want help finding them, let me know. I know how to navigate the Stovebolt catacombs .... (the reason they are hard to navigate is entirely my fault

Just remember -- as you restore/save two pre-War Stovebolts, you are going to learn a lot and develop a bunch of skills in disciplines nearing extinction. All we ask is that you share what you learn with the next new guy (well, 15 or 20 new guys from now to give you time to learn enough to share
) so we can keep this hobby/semi-vocation alive. With Barry Weeks gone, we are needing a '39/'40 guru....
