| | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 15 Member | | Member Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 15 | hello,im not very inclined about tools,and i have a question about the mig welder.i just bought a easy mig 101/1.its has the outlet you plug in for power,but there a clamp i have to hook up to something,which i dont know what.so thats my question what does that clamp hook up to? a generator car battery?sorry that this post is so water down but like i said,im not inclined with tools.all help would be greatly appreciated.thanks

This will need to be connected to the piece of metal you are welding. It is used to complete the circuit between your gun and the unit. Hope this helps.

They do real nice work on sheet metal. Did you get a regulator with your welder. I use straight CO2 on my mig welder, seems to work okay for me.
