My original sunvisors are seized up and nasty. My headliner only has holes for the visor mounting on the driver's side. So, I'm assuming that my truck should only have a visor on that side, and not one on the passenger side. Is that correct? Once I get it cleaned up and free, is the rod supposed to rotate around to the door, or is it stationary at the top of the windshield? THANKS !!!

The visor should rotate around to the side. My '51 (a base fleet model) had sunvisors on both driver and passenger side. There may be screw holes under the headliner for mounting the passenger side visor. They are not the same, and come in right and left.

My '50 Chev, also a base model, only came with the drivers side visor, but there is provision for mounting a visor on the passenger side--a hole for the spring base and three pre-drilled holes for the screws. And yes, the visor should rotate from the windshield position around to the door-side position.
