I was given 3 used LED lights for my shop. They are rated 120-277V. I would appreciate some insight on how to wire them. I have a 100 amp 220 panel. See the pics. There are black, white and green wires. I’m assuming black is hot, white is neutral and green is ground. Or is green another hot for 220-277 voltage?
Green will always be ground. It appears that they can run on any ac voltage from 120 up to 277 since the label shows 120-277. It does not show 120/277 which would indicate one or the other voltage. Ground the green, run them on 120 with black for hot and white for neutral.
