SWEET Sergeant At Arms: Old Dominion Stovebolt Society BUNS?!?!?!Where we're going, we don't need no buns..... 1950 GMC 450 1951 Chevy 1/2-Ton The GreenMachine In the Stovebolt Gallery
Thanks for the added pics, Chris. Here's a couple more.
Just to show that some actual "wrenchin'" took place. We all turned to and got some good group-led instruction on trailer maintenence/wheel bearing greasing. While we didn't actually pull the hubs to clean, inspect, repack and reset the bearings, we did review the procedure.
And for those who may wish to cite a safety violation for working on a vehicle supported solely by a hi-lift farm jack ... All I can say is "yep." In the field you have to git 'er dun with whatchagot. We lifted just enough to spin the wheel and noone is actually under the trailer. And at the end of the day, everyone was ok.
