My experience with repop bumpers isn't good. The originals are spring steel, while repop bumpers (at least the rear one I bought) are soft steel. Additionally, it had sharp edges, as opposed to the radiused edged that were on originals.

Excellent work. They'll do all the body work on the bumper before chroming it so you don't have to worry about it. They did the complex rear bumper of my Toronado some years back. It had been busheled in on the corner. I never thought it could be repaired but it was as perfect as new.

Likely you can slap a shipping label on it without boxing. Unless they drop it out of the truck and someone runs over it, it should arrive in good shape. The chrome shop will likely box it up to ship back to you.
