Want to add power steering on my 49 truck 3100. Has a 3” drop axel as well as a 3 on the tree I want to keep. What are my options?

Thanks

How handy are you? The prius electric conversion uses the existing column/steering box.

EPAS might have a kit for that truck, though I don't know offhand if it will fit below the three on the tree linkage.

I have the EPAS Performance kit for my 53 3100. I would give them a call about the column shift. After looking at the FSM I think you would have to make a new rod and dog leg it around the unit. I can give you any measurements you need. It's still in the box. I put a 15.5" ring on my steering wheel. I'm also putting a Howe 1:1.5 steering quickener on mine.

If you want to stay hydraulic then the set up off aToyota 4wd (late 80's) is the easiest but I like the EPAS set up.
