Anyone know what thickness the rubber window setting tape for the vent window is? And where can I find 3 inch wide rubber tape for the vent window install? All I am finding is 1.5 inches which is not wide enough to cover the latch. Thx

If you take a look at the below page from the 1960-66 FAM, it shows 4 different "Filler" setting tape thicknesses (4 different part #'s) depending on the glass thickness measurement. I found 3 different thickness tapes offered from various vendors - 1/32", 3/64" and 1/16" thick tapes, but as you mentioned none over 1-1/2" wide. You may need to check out a local glass company to see if they might have the extra wide tape in the thickness you need. Good luck and let us know what you figured out please. smile

As mentioned, I ran down to my local glass store and they looked at my need and produced what was needed. In my case, very easy and I was happy to use local business.
