Nice work. I've got a tailgate that was cut down to fit a 46 or earlier bed, and the top roll has a piece of pipe still in it. Using it to repair the roll was a good solution.

The tailgate is standing next to the wall in my garage. But I don't think the pipe rattles around inside.
