I have this air cleaner (see attached) I've always thought it to be an oil bath, but I can't seem to figure out how to "load" the oil. It doesn't separate to reveal an internal bowl like some I've seen. I want to use it on my 216 but need some instruction!
That is not an oil bath filter. It is an oil wetted filter. Instructions for the same filter in a GMC truck say

I use one. I couldn't find a short enough filter looking through Fram's catalog, so I had to extend the bolt that holds down the lid. I'll go out in the garage and get the number from the filter in an hour or two.

I've used both. The threaded rod needs to be a little longer to make up for the slightly taller filter element. I had mine welded in place so I didn't have to worry about loose hardware falling through the carb.
