Mod | | Forums66 Topics126,777 Posts1,039,270 Members48,100 | Most Online2,175 Jul 21st, 2025 | | | Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 224 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 224 | just an update on the progress of my 46 2 ton. i got the truck from spanky its the old wrecker in the gallery (no i have not updated the picture yet) minus the wrecker. i have it running good swapped out the trans with a better one,and now im on the brakes wow this thing needs a complete and i do mean complete brake job. so far i have the master rebuilt the lines off and new ones ready to be bent and flared. i have all of the wheel cylinder kits and i have just removed the first wheel and drum not as bad i thought the shoes are down to the rivets and the drums need to be bored. when i get the brakes all done i will tackle the booster. where do you guys get your brake shoes or do you get them relined? | | | | Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,144 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2003 Posts: 1,144 | local parts house was able to get shoes for my 38 | | |
